Fusion People's impact and

Social Value

Pioneering effective and impactful social value initiatives.

At Fusion People, we deeply understand the integral role of social value within recruitment.

Fusion People's Social Value

Our purpose extends beyond business objectives to delivering long-term, positive change for individuals and communities. Social value sits at the core of our approach, shaping how we support inclusive growth and create meaningful opportunities.

Producing this report has been a rewarding moment of reflection, highlighting both our progress and our ongoing commitment to openness and improvement.

We are delighted by the insights uncovered and the tangible difference we continue to make.

A key part of what we do

Social Value is embedded within the culture at Fusion People and is central to how we operate as a business. We are committed to supporting the wellbeing of our people, the communities in which we work, and the environment around us, responding to societal needs and continually adding value for our stakeholders through our day‑to‑day activities.

Our Social Value strategy focuses on five key pillars: wellbeing, inclusivity, diversity, economic development, and environmental sustainability. Through Social Value reporting, we are able to identify our strengths and gain a clearer understanding of where further improvement can be made.

We actively seek to enhance our offering by investing in the growth and development of our people, ensuring fair reward, supporting physical and mental wellbeing, widening access to employment opportunities, strengthening sustainable practices, and engaging with charities and local communities. This also includes sharing expertise, promoting diverse and inclusive recruitment, and improving opportunities for under‑represented and disadvantaged groups.

By prioritising Social Value, we are confident that our sustainable practices deliver positive, meaningful outcomes for our people, our partners, and the communities we serve.

Our Commitment to Equality Diversity and Inclusion

At Fusion People, we’re committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels valued, respected and able to thrive. In the sectors we operate in, where talent shortages and skills gaps are ongoing challenges, embracing diversity is not only the right thing to do, but a business imperative. A more inclusive workforce brings broader perspectives, drives innovation, and enables us to better support our clients and communities

We invest in Equality, Diversity and Inclusion because we recognise that fair access to opportunities, inclusive working environments, and representation across all levels lead to stronger performance and better outcomes for everyone.

Our latest report highlights the progress we’ve made, while reinforcing our responsibility to continue challenging barriers, promoting equity, and building a workforce that truly reflects the diverse society we serve.

How We Make a Difference

Giving Back

Over the years, Fusion People has proudly supported a wide range of charities, including Help for Heroes, Scotty’s Little Soldiers, Cash for Kids, and most recently Molly Ollys Wishes. Thanks to the hard work, generosity, and enthusiasm of our people, we’ve come together time and time again to raise both funds and awareness for those who need it most.

Supporting those less fortunate doesn’t just make a difference to others, it makes us feel good too. It reflects our values, creates meaningful connections, and fulfils a shared sense of responsibility.

Giving back and engaging with those within our communities not only helps those who need it most but also helps bring us together, collaborating on team events and raising awareness.  This year our Solent Office will be supporting Rowans Hospice, taking part in community engagements and hosting a number of charitable events.

Employee Wellbeing

Supporting our employees’ mental health is a key priority for us. We invest in training for managers and senior leaders to ensure they have the knowledge and skills to recognise concerns, provide appropriate support, and foster a positive and supportive working environment. This commitment extends to our temporary workforce, ensuring they receive the same level of care and support while working with us.

Armed Forces Silver Award

As a signatory to the Armed Forces Covenant, Fusion People has been recognised with the Ministry of Defence’s Employer Recognition Scheme Silver Award. This achievement reflects our commitment to ensuring that those who serve, or have served, in the Armed Forces, along with their families, are treated fairly and with respect.

Molly Ollys Wishes

Over the course of 2025, we raised an amazing £1,696 for Molly Ollys Wishes.

Fusion People were thrilled to support Molly Ollys Wishes as our chosen charity for 2025! This incredible organisation was nominated by our own team, reflecting the deep impact it has on children with life-threatening illnesses and their families.

Molly Ollys Wishes brings comfort, smiles, and vital support to those who need it most, making a real difference in their toughest moments. We are proud to have supported such a meaningful cause!

‘We are very grateful for all your support over the past year and the money raised will certainly make a difference to children who are facing very challenging circumstances. Thank you for help raising both funds and awareness.’

Scottys Little Soldiers

Fusion People fundraised for Scotty's Little Soldiers for many years.

When a parent dies, the impact on their child is significant. When that parent served in the British Forces, the impact is even greater, with children often feeling they’ve lost their connection to the military community. Scotty’s Little Soldiers prevents that and offers bereavement support for those who have lost someone close to them while serving.

At Fusion People, we have close links to people in the armed forces, so this charity resonated with us in so many ways. Over the course of 2023 and 2024, we fundraised for Scotty’s Little Soldiers. Over the two years, we raised an amazing total of £3,220!
