Controller of Site Safety (COSS Initial)

Who is this for?

Those who will carry out the duties of a COSS, set up Safe Systems of Work for a group whilst on or near the line.  

Learning Objectives

At the end of this course delegates will be able to:

Accurately interpret relevant sections of the Rule Book and pertinent Railway Group Standards when performing as a COSS. 

Understand and set up a Safe System of Work before allowing any group of staff to work on or near the track. 

What do you need to attend this course?

Have successfully complete the interim workplace assessment  

Produced evidence of 4 Work Experience Form entries since the last assessment 

What happens after I pass the course?

 Your track safety card will be updated
