Our client is an infrastructure and facilities management group. They provide services across the whole life of many types of buildings and infrastructure such as hospitals, schools, offices, industrial plant, bridges, waterworks or roads. They offer their services at each stage of the asset lifecycle: they build, they help others build by hiring them equipment, they maintain, they support operations and they replace. Around 70 per cent of our services are delivered into the built environment and 30 per cent to plant and infrastructure.

Job Description
Manage the bid process from receipt of tender documents, to handover to the construction team.
Lead the tender team at Bidders Conferences, Mid-term Interviews & Post-tender Interviews as required.
Manage the production of any presentational material needed for the above interviews.
Examine the tender documentation & identify the Client’s requirements for the tender return. Ensure that this information is distributed to the tender team in the form of a Deliverables Matrix.
Develop a strategy for winning each individual bid. This should include, but not be limited to, quality, design development, innovation, supply chain, financial & legal response.
reduce a bid programme to ensure timely delivery of a quality bid.
Hold launch meetings & regular review meetings with the bid team (estimator, planner etc), to ensure that the bid is on course for a successful completion.
Lead production of the bid document in both electronic & hard copy formats. Supervise administration & graphic design staff working on the document. Liaise with external printers & graphic designers as required.
Write sections of the document & format content.
Carry out quality control checks & proof read all parts of the document to ensure compliance & excellence.
Ensure timely delivery of the completed documents.
Manage final negotiations leading to Contract signing.
