Job Description

A leading marine contractor has a requirement for a licence manager to be based in Southampton. The successful applicant will have a proven track record in marine and environmental issues management.

Based in Southampton and reporting to the Resource & Systems Manager, you will be responsible for locating, acquiring, managing and maintaining access to adequate marine aggregate resources. You will ensure Environmental Impact Assessments are efficiently & cost effectively project managed. You will ensure dredging operations are conducted in compliance with the terms of all Government permissions and strive to ensure continuation of the company’s ‘licence to operate’.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established and progressive organisation.The ideal applicant will be educated to B.Sc level or equivalent in Marine geology, oceanography, geography, environmental or a similar marine science discipline. A track record dealing with regulatory advisors would be highly beneficial.
